Gelly-Ball
What is “GellyBall”
GellyBall is the revolutionary, lower-impact, shooting game for all ages!
A popular, low-impact shooting game similar to paintball but without the mess or sting.
GellyBall (The Game)
This is a revolutionary, family-friendly shooting game that uses commercial-grade, battery-powered blasters to launch soft, hydrated gel orbs (often compared to Orbeez).
Ammunition: The “GellyBalls” are tiny, water-absorbing polymer beads that expand when soaked in water to about 8mm in diameter. They are non-toxic, biodegradable, and mess-free because they simply bounce off players or disintegrate on impact, leaving no stain or paint.
Impact: The blasters shoot the gel balls at a low velocity (around 100-150 feet per second). The impact feels like a light tap or the snap of a rubber band, significantly less painful than traditional paintball or airsoft, making it safe for players as young as five years old.
Gameplay: Games are typically played in larges areas, parks or vent spaces,
Blasters have high-capacity magazines (holding up to 750 rounds) and are fully automatic, making constant reloading unnecessary. Players wear protective face masks or goggles for safety.
Water Beads: These toys are made of superabsorbent polymer chemicals that grow significantly in water.

GellyBall age limits
GellyBall is generally recommended for players ages 5 and up, though minimum age requirements can vary slightly depending on the specific venue or provider.
This low-impact activity is popular with a wide range of players because the gel-filled orbs have very little sting, feeling similar to the snap of a rubber band, and cause no mess or bruising.
Safety rules:
GellyBall has a number of important safety rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and fun experience for all players. Most commercial venues enforce these strictly through referees and clear instructions before gameplay.
Core Safety Rules
Eye Protection is Mandatory: All players and spectators in or near the playing area must wear provided full-face masks or safety goggles at all times to prevent eye injuries. Removing eye protection in the arena is a primary safety violation.
Blaster Safety. Players should never shoot before or after a game, at bystanders, animals, or non-targets.
No Physical Contact: There is a strict rule against physical contact with other players or equipment.
Stay Within Boundaries: Players should not jump on or over bunkers/barricades, slide, or dive, as this can cause injury or damage to equipment.
Follow Referee Instructions: The referee or staff member’s decision is final. Players must immediately stop play when the whistle blows or a “cease fire” is called.
Handle Equipment Responsibly: Mistreating equipment (throwing, kicking, taking blasters apart) can lead to the player or their guardian being liable for damage.
Adult Supervision: Adult supervision is required for children, with a recommended age typically 5 and up.
Gameplay Safety Rules
“Call Yourself Out”: GellyBall relies partly on an honor system. If a player is hit anywhere on their body, they must call themselves out by holding their blaster over their head and walking to the designated safe zone or their team’s base.
No Blind Firing: Players must be able to see their target when shooting to ensure no one is targeted inappropriately (e.g., in the head at close range).
